Court Orders Twins to Pay Child Support Due to Inconclusive Paternity Tests

April 19, 2019 //  by Elliot Gale

What happens with twin brothers separately have sexual relations with the same woman and she ends up pregnant? According to a Brazilian Courthouse, they both do.

The twin brothers were ordered to each pay child support when they both declined to admit who was the actual father. When the court ordered paternity tests, the results were inconclusive and the court was unable to confirm who the birth father was.

The reason why the twins refused to disclose who the actual father was to avoid the assignment of child support payments. It appears that neither brother wanted to make the payments so they left it up to the courts to expose the biological father from a DNA test.

Based on the case, it appears that the twins used each other’s identities to trick women or hide their indiscretions with their current partners.

The judge did not find this amusing and ordered them both to financially support the child. Each twin is ordered to pay $30.00 a month to the mother which is double the average amount for that region of Brazil. Both brother’s names will appear on the daughter’s birth certificate.

What do you think? Do you think the judge was fair? What if that happened in California, what do you think the outcome would be?
