Elliot Gale, Partner and Shareholder at Gale, Angelo, Johnson & Patrick P.C., graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida in 2004 with a B.A. in History before earning his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2008.
After interning at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Gale began his legal career at a personal injury firm. He went on to spend nine years as Senior Associate at a consumer bankruptcy firm, overseeing over 1,000 Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. During this time, he argued before the 9th Circuit BAP and 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
In 2019, Mr. Gale became a founding Partner at GAJP, P.C., bringing his robust 10+ year experience in consumer litigation. His unwavering commitment to protecting consumer rights enables him to achieve optimal outcomes for clients facing financial hardship.
Outside of work, Mr. Gale enjoys spending time with family and if a fan of all things “Gators” related (University of Florida athletics.)

Cristobal v. Equifax Inc., 2017 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 63571 (N.D. Cal. April 26, 2017)(finding plaintiff stated a claim for inaccuracy where credit line did not report that debt was subject to pending bankruptcy in accordance with Metro 2 codes, even if her credit report otherwise noted the fact of bankruptcy.

Lugo v. Experian Info. Solutions, 2017 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 134460 (N.D. Cal. Aug. 22, 2017)(holding that Plaintiff properly alleged an inaccuracy where the account status was Charged Off rather than notating the bankruptcy discharge even where 13 the balance and past due balance were zero.)
