We are big animal lovers here at Gale, Angelo, Johnson & Patrick P.C. Most of us have a pet of some sort, but today is National Dog Day so we had to do a special blog for our four-legged fur babies (cats too…)
For some extra joy today, take a scroll down below but warning: there is a TON of cuteness ahead!

Meet Luna & Lyra
“Luna and Lyra are miniature labradoodles that I have had since they were born. Both Luna and Lyra have different and unique personalities, they both love going for hikes, giving puppy kisses and snuggling up after a long day. ”
– Lauren, Partner

Meet Bella
“Bella is a 4 year old rescue dog. She’s very shy, but she loves cuddling, long walks, and ice cream. She’s afraid of garbage trucks, the wind, the garage door, bright stipes, and a lot of other things. Bella’s learning to be a big sister, even though her brother is now bigger than her.”
– Scott, Partner

Meet Bogey
“Bogey is a 6 month old chocolate lab. He’s a ball of energy and love. His favorite thing the tennis ball, which he could play with for hours, and any toy with a noise maker. He’s growing everyday and doesn’t quite understand how big he is, much to the displeasure of his sister. One day he hopes that the cat will cuddle with him, but for now he’s settled for chasing after him.”
– Scott, Partner

Meet Olive
“Olive was adopted from the SPCA a little over 2 years ago but still loves to roam free when she can. When she isn’t running off on an adventure she loves to cuddle up and relax. Her favorite things are belly rubs and stinky smells.”
– Jasmine, Legal Assistant

Meet Lilo
“Lilo is a Havanese poodle and she is two years old. She is named after Lilo from Lilo & Stitch and thinks she can pick fights with dogs that could eat her as an appetizer but that’s why I love her. She also will do anything for cheese, sunbathes 24/7, and hates cuddling.”
– Geriane, Legal Assistant

Meet Carmen
“Carmen is a cat, but we are celebrating her anyways. She is always hungry and spends a great deal of time explaining to you how she is dying of starvation. She loves cat nip and tuna, with a side of bacon. She likes to lay on top of you, so be sure to lay still so as not to disturb her. Her favorite hobby is looking out the window, just don’t make her go outside, she hates it out there, too many bugs.”
– Nicole, Senior Paralegal

Meet Jackson
“Jackson, short for Alan Jackson is my fur faced son. Jackson survived the Camp Fire, and found his forever home with me just after. Jackson’s favorite things are cuddling, begging me to throw toys so he can not fetch them, and pretending he is neglected when I don’t share pizza (please see exhibit). He is the love of my life and I am so grateful for this little pup with huge personality.”
– Trishia, Paralegal

Meet Maui
“Maui, our goofy yellow lab, is the baby. He is 2. He loves rope toys and to play with his big sis Kona. I love him because he helped me grieve our lab who passed from cancer. He’s great for emotional support when he is not eating masks, tanbark and other objects!”
– Lisa, Receptionist

Meet Kona
“Kona is 3. She loves to beat up Maui, swim and will play dead for a treat. Although she is a pocket pit mix, she is scared of everything! I love how smart she is and how she has a seat at our table because she thinks she is a person.”
– Lisa, Receptionist

Meet Simba
“Simba, is a rare “dog” breed that came into my home during the start of the pandemic. Wanting an animal that would enjoy his personal space, I brought him into my home and quickly realized that I had a fur son for life. Simba is chatty and loves to spend his mornings perched on the window watching as the squirrels and birds move around the yard. He loves to greet you at the door with rubs, meows, and loves to play catch at 3 in the morning when he just can’t seem to sleep.”
– Kaitlyn, Paralegal/Certified Law Student

Meet Brutus
“Brutus is 9-year-old Pitbull/rottweiler mix. He came into our lives in 2015 when his previous family could no longer keep him. I will never understand why but we are so thankful as he is my first-born fur-baby and is spoiled rotten. He loves naps, hiking, walking (for 2 miles or less..LOL), his mini pool to help with the Arizona heat, and cuddling with his mom on the couch. He is slowly turning grey in his wiser years but still is his just a baby in our eyes.”
– Brittany, Chief Operating Officer

Meet Guinness
“Guinness is an almost 9-year-old Pitbull/Plot hound mix. He was my COVID Dog and we adopted him in March 2020. After years of abuse and being thrown out of a car and left on the highway, we had to give him a new outlook on life. Most dogs would not trust after being abused, but Guinness shows us every day what unconditional love is. He and I have the most amazing bond and he is a gentle giant who loves hiking, chasing rabbits, making new friends, laying on his back, and following his mom everywhere.”
– Brittany, Chief Operating Officer

Meet Louis
“Louis is an Aruban Cunucu that was rescued from Aruba when he was only 10 weeks old, and is turning two in September. He was wandering the streets looking for food when Kevin and his husband found him near the Louis Vuitton store which is how he got his name. In the end, we found a rescue agency that would fly him back to the United States to join our family, and the rest is history. “
– Kevin, Provisional Licensed Lawyer

Meet Cooper
“Cooper is an Australian Shepard Poodle Mix “AussieDoodle,” and is turning five years old in December. He is cuddle monster and doesn’t like to exercise at all. He’s what we call a couch potato. Nonetheless, he always has a smile on his face. “
– Kevin, Provisional Licensed Lawyer

Meet Nala
“Nala is a beautiful and elegant sheltie. She loves our children and is very overprotective over them whenever we’re out in public. She’s 7 years old and we’ve had her since she was a tiny puppy. She’s very loving and loves being part of our family. She travels with us on camping trips and enjoys our daily walks around the neighborhood. “
